Ready in three steps

  1. Open the store page

Choose Chrome Web Store. Look for RiftPeek for FACEIT, offered by KioMaD.

  2. Add it to Chrome

Choose Add to Chrome, review the permissions shown by Chrome, then confirm Add extension. Open the puzzle menu in the toolbar and pin RiftPeek.

  3. Open FACEIT and check your settings

Sign in to FACEIT in this Chrome profile and reload any FACEIT tabs already open. Auto-accept and server-address copying start on for a new install; other automatic actions start off. Open All settings → Check now. Watch your first match and accept it yourself if confirmation does not appear.

Find and back up player notes

Open All settings → Player notes to search player names or note text, filter Good/Avoid labels and edit a note. Choose Download backup to save a private JSON file. Import backup previews the file and lets you resolve conflicts before saving. Keep the file private; it is not a cloud sync, and uninstalling RiftPeek does not delete files you downloaded.

Choose your auto-accept delay

Set Auto-accept delay in the popup or All settings: 5 seconds by default, from 0 to 20 whole seconds. Zero accepts immediately. Your saved automatic-action choices stay as they are. Watch your first match and accept it yourself if confirmation does not appear.

Read recent team map averages

The match-room map card compares each team’s average map appearances and combined player-map records from each player’s last 30 ranked 5v5 matches. These are player records, not unique team matches. Check the coverage: unavailable history is not zero. The opponent’s unique most-played map is marked only with complete opposing-team history; all-time Pick/Ban strength stays separate.

Automatic updates

Chrome automatically receives published updates for RiftPeek from Chrome Web Store. Keep the extension installed in the Chrome profile you use for FACEIT. Updates may reach browsers at different times. Your notes and preferences stay in that installation; removing it deletes its local data. Reload open FACEIT tabs between matches when convenient to load an updated interface.

Current versions can show an update Chrome has already downloaded and a local summary after updating. Chrome controls when the update is installed; RiftPeek does not download extension packages itself or force a reload during a match. Version 1.0.5 gains the notice UI only after Chrome installs a newer version. Reload FACEIT tabs between matches to use the updated interface.

RELEASE NOTES

What’s new in RiftPeek

Improvements and fixes, version by version. The latest published release is open below; choose an earlier version to read its changes.

1.1.3Latest
  • Level numerals use crisp vector outlines centered by visible ink, independently of fonts and interface language.
  • The popup has a full-width native language selector, larger readable text and a cleaner violet gaming theme.
  • The profile card has a larger level badge and Elo score; the delay input is easier to read and use.
1.1.2
  • Choose an auto-accept delay in the popup or Settings: 5 seconds by default, adjustable from 0 to 20 seconds. Zero accepts immediately. The delay applies to page-button and background check-in paths, survives worker restarts and cancels when automatic acceptance, identity or match context changes.
  • Compare each team’s average map appearances and combined player-map records from each player’s last 30 ranked 5v5 matches. Coverage is visible; unavailable history is not zero. A unique most-played opponent map is highlighted only with complete opposing-team history. All-time Pick/Ban strength stays separately labeled.
  • Download a private JSON backup of player notes and preview a restore before confirming it. Choose whether to keep your current note or use the backup when the same player already has a different note. Notes missing from the file stay saved; no data is uploaded to KioMaD.
  • Search player names and note text, filter Good/Avoid labels, edit notes and open an escaped FACEIT profile link from the notes library in Settings. Failed saves keep the draft, and another-tab changes require a choice before replacing a note.
  • The notes library supports up to 2,000 notes within bounded storage and backup sizes. Reaching capacity refuses new notes with a clear message instead of deleting the oldest notes. Valid older notes stay available.
  • The floating Elo widget uses sharper vector level marks, clearer numbers, a compact view, Reset position and keyboard movement. Its whole box stays within the visible viewport as its contents or the viewport change.
  • A short first-match guide in the popup helps you open FACEIT, check connection status and find notes and backups. Automatic-action choices you already saved stay as they are.
  • Chrome remains responsible for store updates. Version 1.1.2 can show an update Chrome has downloaded and a local what-changed message after an update. Existing 1.0.5 copies gain the new notice UI only after Chrome installs 1.1.2; there is no custom package downloader or forced mid-match reload.
  • Find settings by English or Persian name and description without changing your choices. A failed save keeps your draft and offers Retry saving.
  • Settings writes now use one background writer, merge against strictly read current data and preserve future fields. Concurrent changes no longer silently replace each other, and unreadable settings are never overwritten with defaults.
  • Replace imports verify the notes you reviewed have not changed in another tab. Bounded older collections above the normal 2,000-note limit can be restored with an explicit warning; new ordinary additions remain limited.
  • Turning automation off or changing the verified FACEIT session cancels delayed actions before dispatch. Server copy and connection also reject stale responses across a sign-out and sign-in to the same account.
  • FACEIT rate-limit pauses honor numeric and dated Retry-After headers and survive worker restarts. Forced wakes do not skip the pause. An ambiguous party-accept response is left for manual confirmation instead of sending another acceptance request.
  • Profile requests queued for a page you already left are discarded. Streamer mode avoids rescanning the server panel for RiftPeek-only changes and skips hidden-tab fallback scans. The widget and popup request current Elo rather than a ten-minute cached profile.
  • 5v5 recent and map statistics no longer fall back to explicitly different modes such as Wingman or 2v2. Corrupt temporary worker records are bounded and cannot restore a verified login.
  • Retry saving now keeps your latest edit. An older failed settings write cannot replace a newer value you typed; unrelated updates and language changes preserve unfinished text and number drafts. Other failed fields remain available to retry.
  • A delayed automatic veto stops if the extension runtime becomes invalid or the verified session authority changes while waiting for FACEIT, including signing out and back in to the same account. Consent and match checks still apply before a click.
  • Automatic server-address copying rechecks your extension, Auto-copy and session choices while its clipboard helper starts. Losing the acknowledgement after a copy no longer sends an immediate duplicate copy; existing spaced, bounded retries remain.
  • Malformed FACEIT statistics stay unavailable and retryable instead of becoming cached empty results. Genuinely loaded empty history remains zero, while ambiguous older caches are refreshed. Your own history is discarded if the account or page changes during a cache or network wait.
  • The match room refreshes when FACEIT changes team names, player nicknames, parties or team ratings, so those details do not stay stale while the match ID remains the same.
  • Missing, invalid or non-positive Elo is treated as unavailable in the popup and floating widget. It no longer appears as a made-up zero or level; a valid current Elo value is required.
1.0.5
  • The popup opens at its full width again. In 1.0.4 it could open as a narrow strip with its text squeezed inside.
  • English text now sits in the middle of its chips, buttons and labels instead of riding high, for example "Party of 5" and "3× with you" in the match room, and in the popup and on the settings page too. Persian text is unchanged.
1.0.4
  • A new match room look. A VS header above the rosters puts both teams side by side: average level and Elo, every player's level, parties, win chance, the Elo you can win or lose, and K/D, ADR, win % and HS % as mirrored gauges, with the map, the server and the match state along its top edge. It folds into one slim bar if you want the room back.
  • A livelier loading view. While player statistics arrive, a radar turns around the VS mark with one blip per player, each player's level slot lights up as they are read, and the numbers count up as they land. FACEIT's pause is counted down.
  • Player details sit inside each FACEIT player card: K/D, ADR, win %, HS %, the last five results and chips for parties, streaks and play style, plus a Details button with an overview, recent matches (map, kills / assists / deaths and Elo change, ten at a time up to fifty), maps and your private note.
  • Auto-connect fixed. It now starts CS2 directly (Steam app 730) instead of Steam's server browser, which showed an "invalid app id" message. It runs only for your own verified match and tries again at most three times.
  • FACEIT sign-in is detected without reloading the page. Automatic actions pause while RiftPeek cannot confirm your account.
  • New installs start with "Accept matches automatically" and "Copy the server address" turned on. Choices you already saved stay as they are.
  • Elo and match room details refresh correctly when you switch FACEIT accounts.
  • RiftPeek's own pages and overlays use the IRANYekan font, with clearer English and Persian wording. The popup and the settings page are redesigned, with section navigation and a visible "Saved" confirmation.
  • The ad space takes turns between two of our own projects, Iranify and kiomad.com. One × hides both for the rest of the session.
1.0.1
  • Damaged saved notes and activity entries no longer stop the settings page or activity logging. Valid notes and existing limits are kept.
1.0.0
  • First release: match room statistics (both teams' average Elo, win chance and the Elo you can win or lose), a stats line for every player, team tables and each team's strength per map with pick and ban marks, player hints and private notes.
  • A profile card with level progress, an Elo chip on every FACEIT page, and optional automation: auto-accept, alerts, party invites, copying the server address, connecting, and map and server veto. In English and Persian.
